For Recruiters

1. Invitation & Interest

SCC sends invitations with timelines. New recruiters can express interest by emailing Office, Student Career Cell with Company Name and Contact details.

2. Portal Registration

Login credentials will be provided via email. Recruiters can post multiple job or internship opportunities and upload detailed Job Descriptions (JDs).

3. Application Access

Student profiles and CVs become visible only after they apply. SCC will share the application list via email before scheduled tests/interviews.

Selection Workflow

Pre-Selection

PPT & Job Publishing

SCC schedules Pre-Placement Talks (PPT). Students have a 6-hour window after the PPT to deregister if the profile is not a match.

Shortlisting

Selection List

Recruiters shortlist students and are urged to maintain a waitlist for seamless interviewing.

Execution

Tests & Interviews

Conducted as per the allocated schedule. Max time: 90 mins total per candidate. Single sessions must not exceed 60 mins.

Research Students (PhD / Post-Doc)

PhD / iPhD Eligibility

Expecting completion by July 2026.
Min. 4.5 years in program (or supervisor consent).

Post-Doc Eligibility

Joined IISER at least 1.5 years ago.
OR < 6 months remaining in current term.

Important Protocols

Communication: All recruitment activity must be routed ONLY via SCC.
Direct Contact: Direct communication with students regarding results or schedules is strictly prohibited.
Results: Final lists must be emailed to SCC immediately after the interview slot.
